Andrew said:. I joined March of this year. Stock Honda FPRs are set at 37psi. Compatible with boosted engines? Is it a rising rate? I'm trying to find a regulator and am considering this particular one. They mount remotely like on the firewall, and also do a good job. Is this a rising rate fpr conversion?

Before you begin the fuel pressure regulator install, you must always use the proper safety measures. If you are unsure of any step of this process, please stop and take your vehicle to a professional. The first part of the fuel pressure regulator install guide will cover the installation of a replacement FPR.
This assumes that you already know what regulator fits your car. Before beginning your install, make sure to always disconnect your battery terminals. Always operate with safety in mind and with the proper eye protection as your fuel system is under pressure. Locate your fuel pressure regulator, and disconnect the fuel feed and return lines. When you have these two lines disconnected, you must then replace the FPR. Tuners that want a complete fuel pressure regulator replacement or bypass usually purchase a universal unit.
Good news is, you usually have the hardware to complete the install when you purchase the FPR. Most fuel pressure regulator install jobs fall under this category. If you are using a universal unit in your fuel pressure regulator install, the hard part is usually mounting it. Keep your regulator away from heat. Most fuel pressure regulator install kits come with the hardware for insulation and mounting.
Having a fuel pressure regulator problem and need help troubleshooting fuel problems? If the connector does not move, keep the retainer tabs pressed down, and alternately pull and push the connector until it comes off easily. Do not remove the retainer from the line; once removed, the retainer must be replaced with a new one.
While pushing down the rear seat cushion A , pull the seat hook handles B to release the hooks C. Align the marks A on the fuel tank and the fuel tank unit, then insert the fuel tank unit into the fuel tank. NOTE: To prevent a fuel leak, check the base gasket, visually or by hand, to make sure it is not pinched. After installation, check the base gasket, visually or by hand, to make sure it is not pinched.
Turn the ignition switch to ON II but do not operate the starter motor. The fuel pump runs for about 2 seconds, and fuel pressure rises. Repeat this two or three times, then make sure there are no fuel leaks. This deletes a portion of the engine bay feed hard line and replaces the filter. In factory form its ugly, bulky, and routed inefficiently. This kit does retain the OEM fuel line bracket that attaches to the frame rail. You will cut the feed hard line to the same length as the return hard line.
The return line will not be cut. To get the feed and return AN clamps organized without hitting we move the tank vent hard line out of the OEM fuel line clamp in order to move the return line one spot down. To do this you will cut the tank vent line the same length and hand bend it under the frame rail.
